The UN campaign “Orange the World” has been raising awareness of violence against women and girls since 1991. Since 2008, it has been part of the UN Secretary-General's “UNiTE to End Violence against Women” campaign, which is implemented by UN Women. This year, UN Women Germany is focusing the “Orange The World” campaign on the violence that women and girls experience every day in public: on the street, at work or in the digital world. Presenter Hadnet Tesfai and comedian Moritz Neumeier are “Orange The World” ambassadors for 2025.
