Klaus-Peter Muster, born in 1971, lives with his wife, three children and family dog in the Rhineland. "Die große Knete" is already his third thriller from the world of banks and insurance companies.

Although Muster won the short story prize of the city of Oberursel at the age of 13, he decided to study international business law in Berlin and London. For ten years he worked as a business editor for the renowned magazine "Geld heute" and then set up his own business as a freelance management consultant and coach. With his blog "Zaster, Zaster" he conquered a large following in a short time.

His first economic crime novel "Jetzt kassiere ich" (I'm cashing in now) was published in 2010 and was awarded the Ackermann Prize of the City of Frankfurt.

Muster is not only an enthusiastic martial artist, but also the singer of a jazz trio that is at home in the clubs between Cologne and Mainz.
