CMW Forum Discussion: Good Care – Constructively Shaping Care and Power Relationships

How can effective supervision be achieved during a doctorate programme? This full-day workshop with external coach Alexandra Busch offers doctorate students at the University of Erfurt a space to reflect on their individual experiences and challenges in the supervision process, to critically examine power dynamics within the higher education context, and to work together to develop practical solutions. Through peer-to-peer discussion, participants can also plan specific steps for change and prepare for upcoming meetings with their supervisors. The workshop is based on subject-specific input, individual and group work, as well as facilitated reflection and discussion sessions.
