The Faculty of Catholic Theology in Erfurt (formerly Philosophical-Theological Studies) and the Regional Seminary in Erfurt will celebrate their 75th anniversary in 2027. The highlight of the anniversary year is a two-day celebration in June.

A "Former Students' Day" will take place on 6 June from 3 p.m. – with various speeches looking back on the past decades, an evening get-together with a barbecue and plenty of opportunities for former students and current students to exchange ideas.

On 7 June, there will be a festive church service at 9 a.m. followed by a ceremony in Erfurt Cathedral. This will be followed by various panels, exhibitions and events.
