A workshop for students and teachers in the workshop for media education

Information from the organisers

Discriminatory and racist statements in everyday life and at university are on the increase and very often there is an initial uncertainty about how to act. The workshop will use selected practical examples to look at various forms and dimensions of discrimination and work out initial possible strategies in response. Methods and technologies for argumentation that have been tried and tested in practice will be presented and tried out in initial applications.

The event is organised in cooperation with the Lernwerkstatt of the University of Erfurt. As a basis for this workshop, it is recommended to read the lecture "Political opinion-forming in social media" on 26.05.2026 from 16:15 -17:45 in the WfMB.
