We cordially invite all interested parties to the film screening of "DIE UNBEUGSAMEN 2 - GUTEN MORGEN, IHR SCHÖNEN!".

Film description: The documentary film sheds light on the lives of East German women from different areas of society in the GDR. The film shows 15 women who address the influence of patriarchal structures despite state-imposed equality and thus create an impressive picture of gender relations in the workers' and farmers' state and their own achievements. "The film is an ode to all the indomitable women - workers, scientists, artists - who confidently demanded their place in life. An important, bitterly humorous piece of history - and an antithesis to a largely male-centred historiography" (visionkino).
