Anyone considering a doctorate after graduation or a subsequent professional phase has many questions. The workshop therefore offers an overview of all important aspects of such a decision. This includes a general overview of the doctoral project, as well as the opportunities it offers and the organi-zational challenges. Dr Alexander Egeling is a certified trainer and coach for scientists. He studied and worked at uni-versities in Germany, Australia, and Canada.
