Under the title "Ask FGF | Find funding providers. Seize opportunities. Understanding applications." the Research and Graduate Services Department at the University of Erfurt is offering a new online format.

About the event

The events are aimed at scientists and research-related employees at all career levels - especially doctoral candidates, postdocs and early career researchers with little or no experience in applying for funding. In short 20-minute sessions, colleagues from the unit present relevant funding programmes, provide guidance through the funding jungle and answer questions in a ten-minute Q&A session.

Dates in the summer semester:

  • 04 June 2026, 10 a.m.: DFG for doctoral candidates in early career phases
  • 11 June 2026, 10 a.m.: Alternatives to the DFG for doctoral researchers in the early stages of their career
  • 25 June 2026, 10 a.m.: International mobility
Participation

Registration is not necessary - interested parties can simply join online.
