From Problem to Prototype – Design Thinking Workshop

Having a good idea is the first step – but how do you turn it into a solution that truly meets the needs of future users? If you fancy exploring new perspectives, trying out creative methods and getting straight down to work, this workshop is just the thing for you.

Together, we’ll explore Design Thinking as a creative approach to innovation and walk through the process ourselves – in an accessible, practical way and with no prior knowledge required.

The following topics, amongst others, will be covered and put into practice:

• You’ll get to know the key phases of Design Thinking – from empathy and problem definition through to ideas, prototypes and testing
• You’ll try out creative methods and look at problems from new perspectives
• You’ll develop initial prototypes and test your ideas straight away
• You’ll discover how to use Design Thinking for your own start-up project

The focus is on collaborative experimentation rather than theory. You’ll play an active part, developing ideas, building initial prototypes and testing potential solutions. The aim isn’t to find the perfect solution straight away, but to make progress step by step through rapid experimentation and changing perspectives.
To conclude, we’ll reflect together on which principles and methods from Design Thinking can support you in your own start-up venture – and how you can apply them directly in your ongoing development process.
