Information event "Fellowships for innovation in digital lecturing"

Background

This year, the Thuringian Ministry of Education, Science and Culture, in cooperation with the Stifterverband, is once again offering up to nine fellowships as part of the Thuringian Strategy for Digitisation in Higher Education. nine fellowships for innovations in digital lecturing:

• up to 4 individual fellowships (for individual lecturers)
• up to 5 tandem fellowships (for two lecturers together)

Funding is available for projects to develop and test digitally supported teaching and examination formats as well as for the curricular redesign of modules with the consistent use of digital technologies.

Funding amount:

• Individual fellowship: up to 50.000 €
• Tandem fellowship: up to 60.000 €

Project duration:

• Start: 1 September 2026
• End: 31 December 2027

Application deadline: 24 April 2026
