AI Networking Event for Teachers

Many teaching projects on and involving generative AI are emerging at universities in Thuringia, often without those involved being aware of one another. The eTeach Network Thuringia is therefore hosting an event at Erfurt University of Applied Sciences. In a moderated session to share experiences, teaching staff and teaching support employees will discuss the following topics at three round-table discussions:

• AI & Professional Development: the professional development opportunities for teaching staff within the network, with a focus on AI@eTeach
• AI & Writing: generative tools in the writing process
• AI Chatbots & Application Development: developing your own applications based on AI models

At the end of each session, concrete points for follow-up and next steps will be identified. The programme also includes time for individual discussions. Personal experience with AI in teaching situations is helpful; for the third thematic session, in-depth technical knowledge is recommended.
