In her lecture "Klimaschutz unter Druck – warum er weiterhin zählt", Barbara Schlomann, Chair of the Expert Council for Climate Issues, will talk about the status of climate protection in Germany, current challenges and measures needed to achieve climate targets. As one of the most important voices in the German climate debate, she will also explain the role of scientific advice in assessing the effectiveness of German climate policy and discuss the opportunities that a forward-looking, science-based climate policy offers for the economy and society.
The lecture begins at 6.15 pm in Lecture Hall 2 of the Centre for Communication and Information (KIZ) at the University of Erfurt.
