After three years of training at the University of Erfurt, Zoe Gohlke and Florian Pegel were congratulated on passing their final exams at a small ceremony. On her way to becoming a specialist in media and information services, Zoe Gohlke learnt all the steps involved in processing and using media, and particularly enjoyed working in the archive. Florian Pegel designed, installed and configured an AI chatbot for his final examination as a specialist in system administration. "Saying goodbye to our trainees is a special moment every year," emphasises Nadine Pippus-Wehlisch, Head of Human Resources. "They have worked towards this moment with great commitment and perseverance. I would like to congratulate Zoe Gohlke and Florian Pegel on their graduation and wish them every success in their future careers. For us, training at the University of Erfurt not only means constantly promoting new junior staff, but also reflecting on our own structures and working methods and being open to new ideas."
In addition to the trainers Andreas Schöppl and Eric Schümann, Dr Valentina Tischer was also thanked for her many years of commitment in supervising the trainees. “None of this would be possible without the support of many employees at the University of Erfurt, and here I would like to thank Dr Tischer in particular, who we are bidding a well-deserved farewell to after 20 years as a trainer. She has guided 34 media and information services specialists through their training and brought them to a successful conclusion. In the HR department, we enjoyed working with her and benefited from the fact that Dr Tischer always went above and beyond for our junior staff. ”
The University of Erfurt is once again offering training this year: On 1 August, Paul Machleb will begin his training as an IT specialist for system integration.
