Information and a case study on opportunities, organisation and funding

Information from the organisers

Are you thinking about spending part of your degree programme abroad? Then come along and discover just how international your teacher training programme can really be!

Whether it’s an SPS or BWG internship abroad or a semester abroad at a partner university – a stay abroad offers you the chance to get to know schools and teaching from a completely new perspective, gain intercultural experience and sharpen your pedagogical insight.

At this event, you’ll find out:

  • what opportunities are available to Bachelor’s-level teacher training students,
  • how to organise and fund a stay abroad,
  • and what you absolutely must bear in mind when planning your trip.

Particularly exciting: Lia Hlady has only just returned from her teaching placement in Toulouse a few weeks ago and will be sharing her personal experiences.

Come along, ask your questions and be inspired – perhaps this is where your own journey abroad begins!

Its aim is to internationalise teacher training at the University of Erfurt in the long term. Increasing mobility abroad and facilitating intercultural experiences for lecturers and students are key objectives of this project. In doing so, the aim is to strengthen existing partnerships with universities and to establish and consolidate further international contacts.
