Brandt School Early Career Researchers present their research at ECPR General Conference

Many of our early career researchers presented their research that covers various topics on this year’s European Consortium for Political Research General Conference.

The virtual conference was organized by the European Consortium For Political Research and took place from 30 August to 3 September. Our early career researches covered a wide range of topics as well as geographical areas in their presentations. Evans Awuni discussed corruption, democracy, economic performance and the impacts of digitalization in Sub-Saharan Africa. Stephanie Gast Zepeda talked also talked about digitalization, however, in relation to demography in German labour policy debates. Laima Eike focused in her presentation on country positioning in renewable energy value chains. Almut Mohr discussed the potential role of social movements in just transition processes by focusing on the South African energy transition. Silvia Weko examined in her presentation clean tech ownership and country stances on intellectual property rights.
