Call for applications for PhD scholarships

With effect from 1 April 2027, the University of Erfurt is awarding scholarships, funded by the Thuringian State Graduate Funding Scheme, for doctoral research projects within the structured Erfurt Doctoral and Postdoctoral Programme (EPPP) run by the certified research training groups or the Max-Weber-Kolleg. The deadline for applications is 24 November 2026, 23:59 (CET).

The financial support of 1,400 euros per month is provided for a period of three years and may be extended for a further year. In addition, a family allowance of 300 euros is granted for one child and 150 euros for each further child.
