Guest lecture and discussion

According to the liturgical calendar of the Protestant Church, the relationship between Christians and Jews is commemorated on the 10th Sunday after Trinity. Professor Rainer Kessler (Marburg/Frankfurt) has published a biblical commentary on the prophet Amos. Especially the 9th chapter of the Book of Amos deals with the relationship between Israel and the nations in an eschatological perspective. This is one of the theological foundations for the relationship of Christians with the permanently chosen people of Israel. After an impulse by Rainer Kessler, there will be an opportunity for questions and in-depth discussion.
