Those who take part in the sign language course at the University of Erfurt learn to tell stories with their bodies. The basic and advanced courses are very popular among students. There are usually more applications than places. In order to extend and practise what they have learned beyond the course, a group of university members meets every fortnight for a "Sign Language" regulars' table.
