Lecture open to the university public as part of the series "Campus Impuls - Gesundheit und Fortbildung im Fokus" organised by the University of Erfurt's health management team

The first lecture in the Campus Impuls series will focus on the topic of the menopause.
The menopause is a natural but often challenging phase of life - characterised by physical changes, new needs and many questions. This online lecture is aimed at affected women and anyone who would like to understand more about the interrelationships.

In this compact lecture, you will receive an understandable overview of:

  • Theoretical basics of the menopause
What is actually happening in the body - and why?
  • Hormonal changes and their effects
From typical complaints to lesser-known symptoms.
  • Risk factors for possible secondary diseases
How lifestyle, hormones and health influence each other.
  • Practical behavioural prevention measures
What you can do yourself to alleviate symptoms and improve your well-being.
  • Support from naturopathy and medicine
Which options can be useful - from proven naturopathic approaches to medical therapies.

In the Q&A afterwards, you will have the opportunity to ask individual questions and take away valuable ideas for your personal journey.

Target group: affected women and anyone interested
