Beuting works as a freelance radio journalist – for Deutschlandfunk, NDR and WDR, among others – and is an expert in narrative nonfiction formats. He teaches storytelling at the ARD.ZDF Media Academy, among others. As part of his fellowship, he will give a lecture on 18 November at 4 pm on the topic "From research results to science stories" in the small seminar room of the research building (C19). Afterwards, he will spend his time at the University of Erfurt supporting young scientists in their media work and preparing them for confident presentation and storytelling.
With its new fellowship programme, the Institute for Planetary Health Behaviour is opening its doors to dedicated science journalists. It offers the opportunity to become part of the interdisciplinary IPB team as a "Journalist in Residence" and to work together with researchers on the pulse of climate and health.
