Successful closed meeting in Leipzig

On 26 and 27 June 2025, the first closed meeting of the Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences took place in Leipzig. The professors, permanent teaching staff and administrative managers of the Faculty, including the Willy Brandt School, met to discuss strategic areas of development, both for the degree programmes offered and for the faculty as a whole.

In June, members of the Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences met for the first time for a closed meeting in Leipzig.

This new format of exchange for the faculty has proven to be very successful. Away from the campus and with significantly more time than in a faculty council, the participants were able to develop and discuss new ideas with an open mind. In keeping with Faculty tradition, a game of flunky ball in the evening was a must. Another closed meeting is planned for next year.
