The Thuringian Sustainability Forum 2025 focuses on sustainability in practice and cultural perspectives. Representatives from politics, science, business, culture and civil society will discuss good examples, new ideas, and concrete perspectives for action. Professor Dr. Cornelia Betsch will give a keynote speech on the importance of behavioural research for effective climate action.

The Thuringian Sustainability Forum 2025 is dedicated to the "cultures of sustainability" - in other words, the diverse ways in which sustainable thinking and action can be practised and promoted in Thuringia. The focus is on questions about where sustainability can already be felt, how culture and community shape our understanding of a sustainable future and how we can shape sustainability together. Prof. Dr. Cornelia Betsch, Director of the Institute for Planetary Health Behaviour (IPB), will shed light in her keynote speech on why understanding human behaviour is key to effectively promoting climate action.

The Thuringian Sustainability Forum 2025 is being organized by the Thuringian Ministry for the Environment, Energy, Nature Conservation, and Forestry (TMUENF) and the Thuringian Sustainability Advisory Council (TNB). Interested and committed individuals, organizations, and companies, as well as stakeholders from politics, business, science, culture, and civil society are cordially invited to attend.
