Information from the organisers

How can school become a place that not only imparts knowledge, but also creates support, a sense of belonging and trust? The event presents the Swedish concept of Trygghet - a pedagogical understanding in which sustainable relationships, clear structures and an atmosphere of security form the basis for successful learning. Schools and universities are seen as spaces that offer pupils and students a sense of "home".

The Swedish guest lecturer Professor Anja Kraus will provide insights into the theory and practice of Trygghet. Student teachers will also present teaching materials that they have developed on this basis and inspired by Astrid Lindgren's Ronja the Robber's Daughter. The participants will get to know specific approaches and try out how Trygghet can also be implemented in German lessons.
