About the event

This face-to-face course introduces the reference management programme Citavi. It supports the workflow throughout all stages of academic writing. We will demonstrate and explain the programme’s key features and how to use it. These include:

• The structure and operation of Citavi
• Importing reference sources and electronic full-text documents into Citavi, Citavi Picker
• Literature analysis and knowledge organisation (creating an outline, inserting citations)
• Importing into Word files

Target audience: Students, academic staff and other university members

Duration: approx. 90 minutes

Venue: Lecture theatre at Erfurt University Library (ground floor)
