New online format: "Find funding providers. Utilise opportunities. Understand applications."

Under the title "Frag FGF | Fördermittelgeber finden. Chancen nutzen. Anträge verstehen." (Ask our Research and Graduate Services department | Find funding providers. Utilise opportunities. Understanding applications.) the Research and Graduate Services department at the University of Erfurt is offering a new online format. It provides regular information on key funding topics relating to third-party funds and research funding.

The events are aimed at scientists and research-related employees at all career levels – especially doctoral candidates, postdocs and early career researchers with little or no experience in applying for funding. In short 20-minute sessions, colleagues from the unit will present relevant funding programmes, provide guidance through the funding jungle and answer questions in a ten-minute Q&A session. Registration is not required – interested parties can simply join online.

Dates in the summer semester:

  • 04 June 2026, 10 a.m.: DFG for doctoral candidates in early career phases
  • 11 June 2026, 10 a.m.: Alternatives to the DFG for doctoral candidates in early career phases
  • 25 June 2026, 10 a.m.: International mobility
