On 13 September, Open Monuments Day will be held under the theme ‘NetzWERKE: Monuments & Infrastructure’. Historic buildings will open their doors to interested visitors; guided tours will provide an insight into how they are currently used.

In keeping with the theme of this year’s Open Monument Day, historian Dr Markus Meumann, acting director of the Gotha Research Centre, will be leading guided tours at 11.00 am and 1.00 pm on the topic of ‘Research infrastructure and academic networks: The Gotha Research Centre in the historic Landschaftshaus’.
