In this project, a team of early-career researchers led by Dr Sarah Eitze, a research fellow on the professorship for Health Communication and a member of the Institute for Planetary Health Behaviour, is investigating why people with endometriosis remain undiagnosed for an average of eight years despite experiencing symptoms. The focus is on the social and psychological factors that contribute to this.
