Running for the senate

Why do I want to run for the current senate?

Because I believe that a successful and sustainable university can only succeed with each other, with the cooperation of all status groups. At the Oscars, the supporting actors (in german "Nebendarsteller") are called "Supporting Act". And as a Supporting Act for science and teaching, we also need a strong voice to be able to contribute our expertise and our perspectives. Perspectives that are certainly diverse. Because science-supporting staff are the colleagues in the central administration as well as the people who work in the faculties and research institutions and, of course, all those who create the basis for the success of research and teaching in our service institutions. As a member of the University Communications staff, I am very fortunate to get to know many of them (you) and to experience different perspectives. And last but not least, as University Communications, we are "allowed" to take a look at the entire university and all the topics and people that make it up. And I hope that I can bring perspective to it.
