Workshop with Dr Alexander Egeling as part of the Academic Qualification Programme

About the event

Anyone considering a doctorate after graduation or a subsequent professional phase has many questions. The workshop therefore offers an overview of all important aspects of such a decision. This includes a general overview of the doctoral project, as well as the opportunities it offers and the organi-zational challenges. In addition to several trainer inputs, there will also be opportunities to reflect by yourself and to discuss with others.

In detail, the following points are concerned:

  • What does it mean to do a doctorate?
  • How does it affect your career prospects?
  • How do you find supervisors and a topic?
  • What kind of funding opportunities are there?

There will also be time in the workshop for further questions.
