Do you have your Master's degree in your pocket, are you already in the doctoral phase or have you already completed your doctorate and are wondering whether an academic career is right for you? Are you wondering what steps you could or should take next on the path to a professorship?
Or can you imagine pursuing a career in science outside of academia and are interested in how such a career path can be organised?
At the Lunch & Talk "Careers inside and outside the university", you will receive insights and answers to these questions. Two speakers will present their individual careers: Leyla Dogruel will talk about her career as a professor within universities, Folker Metzger about his professional career in cultural institutions, parallel to his doctorate.
Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in dialogue.
Professor Leyla Dogruel has held the Chair of Communication Studies with a focus on Social Communication at the University of Erfurt since June 2023. She is also Deputy Director of the ErfurtLab and Deputy Faculty Equal Opportunities Officer (Faculty of Humanities).
