Description of the

Your voice is your most important tool in science - it conveys more than just information.

Whether you are presenting your research, leading lectures or trying to convince in a job interview: The way you speak determines whether your content is received.

In this practical training course, you will learn how to use your voice in a targeted manner, speak clearly, resonantly and effectively - and remain authentic in the process. You will learn how to protect your voice, expand your tonal range and appear calm, confident and present even in stressful situations.

Through exercises from speech training, rhetoric and breathing techniques, you will gain more confidence, resonance and expressiveness - and therefore also more pleasure in speaking.
The result is a voice that carries - in seminars, conferences and exams as well as in the digital space.

What you can expect:

  • Your voice as a tool: powerful, sonorous, clear

  • Resonance and resilience - how your voice "gets space"

  • Speak confidently in the event of nervousness or stage fright

  • Formulate comprehensibly and vividly - even with complex content

  • Emphasise naturally instead of reading monotonously

  • Breathing technique for a stable, relaxed voice

  • Posture, toneöbody language and voice in harmony

  • Practical exercises for everyday academic life: presentations, lectures, discussions

All content is practical and immediately realisable. You will work with individual examples from your everyday life - e.g. a lecture, a teaching situation or your defence. The training offers space for experimentation, feedback and personal development - in an appreciative, relaxed atmosphere.
You will gain vocal confidence, presence and expressiveness - and will be able to convey your content with clarity, energy and personal conviction.
