Hardly any other activity takes up as much time in everyday university life, in scientific research and in practically every office job as reading specialised texts. Whether on screen or on paper - on average, 1/4 of working time is spent reading, and with the flood of digital information, this proportion is constantly increasing. And yet most people only deal with their reading technique once: as 6-year-olds in primary school. Well-educated adults can do more!
"Adult-appropriate" reading means significantly faster reading (usually a 50-100% increase) while at the same time improving motivation, concentration and text comprehension. Good reading techniques also enable stress reduction, resilience and greater enjoyment of reading.
Improved Reading is Germany's leading adult reading training programme (courses at KPMG, Deutsche Bank, the German Bundestag, various Fraunhofer and Max Planck Institutes, among others). On one course day, a tight, highly efficient intensive training programme is offered that immediately leads to a noticeable improvement in reading efficiency for each individual participant.
Course objectives/content:
Regular course duration is 2 days. This is the 1-day crash course variant.
