Summer break over – Academic Skills Training with new offers

Following the summer break, researchers will once again have the opportunity to take part in the Academic Skills Training from September onwards. The programme comprises a range of initiatives designed to promote and develop key interdisciplinary skills, as well as to support career planning and development, and is open to academics at all stages of their careers.

Particular mention should be made here of the careerMe mentoring programme. Within the programme line “Careers in Academia” , doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers and tenure-track and career-track professors are supported by academics from the University of Erfurt acting as mentors. In addition, doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers in the programme strand “Careers outside Higher Education” from external mentors, for example from the business sector, the cultural sector or from foundations.

Applications for the mentoring programme can be submitted at any time.

Information on all the opportunities available can be found on the website of the Academic Skills Training.
