The workshop will be held in English and is aimed at doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers. Registrations are open until 1 November.

The workshop offers a practical introduction to research data management. By the end, participants should be able to:

  • recognize relevant policies and regulations,
  • understand the importance of data in research and publication,
  • develop data search strategies and create DMPs,
  • manage personal data ethically and effectively,
  • select data for publication and archiving,
  • use persistent identifiers like ORCID to increase visibility and
  • identify NFDI consortia relevant to your field.

The speaker is Dr Nadine Neute, an employee at the Research Data Management Service Centre at the University of Erfurt.
