Think Tank 30 Germany visits the Institute

On September 13, 2025, the Institute for Planetary Health Behaviour welcomed the Think Tank 30 Germany, the young think tank of the Club of Rome, to its autumn conference in the research building "WELTBEZIEHUNGEN" on the campus of the University of Erfurt. The event was co-organised by Dr. Parichehr Shamsrizi, a member of the IPB and Think Tank 30 Germany. IPB Director Prof. Dr. Cornelia Betsch gave a brief, scientific input at the opening and was a guest in a panel discussion.

The focus was on key questions relating to the future of democracy, political design, and dealing with social polarisation. The conference offered space for exchange, reflection, and concrete approaches on how science, politics, and civil society can jointly develop solutions.
