Forest Symposium

The Amazon of Rights project with other co-operating institutions invites you to the Third Sociological Forest Symposium.

The symposium is aimed at researchers and interested parties focussing on the social, cultural and political dimensions of the forest. On 9 and 10 October 2025 at Fulda University of Applied Sciences, we would like to jointly develop the perspectives of sociological forest research and discuss current and future challenges under the heading "Future and Futures" .
