An event organised by the Klima Netzwerk für mehr Nachhaltigkeit in Thuringia and ThüLeNa (Thuringia Teaches and Learns Sustainably).

How do we prepare engineers for decisions whose consequences extend far beyond the technical sphere?
Lecturers and higher education pedagogues from the engineering disciplines are invited to explore how service-learning cultivates a sustainability-oriented approach to problem-solving as a professional ethos, equipping students for contemporary engineering practice.

Note on participation: It is possible to attend only the morning session. Those taking part in the afternoon workshop (Parts I and II) are asked to submit a brief concept outline on the implementation of service-learning in teaching and support practice approximately 30 days after the kick-off day.
