Digital innovations wanted by 27 March 2024!

Anyone interested in founding a company with a start-up idea in the digital field can apply until 27 March 2024 as part of the "Digital Innovations" start-up ideas competition!

Teaser start-up competition digital innovations

The start-up competition is the largest publicly funded ideas competition in Germany with annual prize money totalling 600,000 euros.

This year's focus prize for the summer round of the competition will be awarded in the "GovTech" category.

Form of application

  • Idea outline with a maximum of 12 pages (PDF document) in phase 1
  • In phase 2, the best 50 idea sketches will receive three additional pages to respond to the feedback from phase 2
  • Optional: Supplement with a video (maximum running time 60 s)
  • Details of the people applying with the idea sketch
