Investigative Commission on Good Scientific Practice and the Ombudsperson

The task of the standing investigative commission, elected by the Senate, and the ombudsperson is to investigate allegations of research misconduct. Research misconduct occurs, in particular, when false statements are made intentionally or through gross negligence in a context relevant to research, or when the intellectual property rights of others are infringed. The investigation of research misconduct by the investigation commission and the ombudsperson ensures adherence to good research practice.
