Lecture by Mouhanad Khorchide as part of the Monday Lectures . In cooperation with the Catholic Forum in Thuringia

"A negative grand narrative about Jews has become established among many Muslims today. Where does this narrative come from? How did it become established? And above all: how can it be disrupted - and replaced by an alternative, pro-Jewish grand narrative?"

Mouhanad Khorchide poses these questions at the beginning of his book. The Islamic theologian explains which passages from the Koran and theological considerations contribute to Muslim anti-Semitism. However, he also discovers Judaism as the origin and source of Islam and wonders what this statement means for a Palestinian identity.
