The University of Erfurt participated in the Deutschlandstipendium Program of the Federal Government.
We award these scholarships annually to particularly talented, high-performing and socially committed students.
The income-independent scholarship is 300 euros per month.
Half of it is financed by sponsors and the other half by the Federal Government.
The Deutschlandstipendium is awarded once a year in the winter semester at the University of Erfurt.
The application period of 6 weeks is from June to August and will be announced in good time.
The scholarship is paid monthly and is granted for a maximum of one year.
It is possible to reapply after the grant period has expired.
The maximum funding period is generally based on the standard period of study.
It is independent of income and can be combined with BAföG funding.
There is no legal entitlement to funding from the Deutschlandstipendium.
At least 13 Deutschlandstipendien will be awarded for the 2026/27 academic year. Applications must be submitted exclusively through the Bewerbungsportal.
The portal will be accessible only during the application period from June 29, 2026, to August 9, 2026.
