Antonia Purk awarded Christoph Daniel Ebeling-Fellowship

Antonia Purk has received the Christoph Daniel Ebeling-Fellowship to conduct archival research in the US as part of her postdoctoral project.

In June 2022, Antonia Purk was awarded the Christoph Daniel Ebeling-Fellowship. The German Association for American Studies (DGfA/GAAS), in cooperation with the American Antiquarian Society (AAS), offers one fellowship to support research at AAS's archives at Worchester, Massachusetts. As a research fellow at the Society, Purk will work on her postdoctoral project "Cooking Up Significations: Foodways and Racialization in 19th-Century American Literature."
