Under the guiding theme "Discover the Energy of Tomorrow," Federal Research Minister Cem Özdemir inaugurated the Science Year 2025 – Future Energy on April 1, 2025, at the Futurium Berlin. Under the patronage of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and Wissenschaft im Dialog (WiD), leading experts from science and practice are discussing how innovative technologies and societal change can drive the energy transition forward.
Prof. Dr. Cornelia Betsch, Director of the Institute for Planetary Health Behaviour at the University of Erfurt, participated in a high-profile panel discussion on how science can collaborate with citizens to support the success of the energy transition and promote the acceptance of measures to combat climate change.
