Sports students receive coach license in basketball for the first time

On the basis of a cooperation with the Thuringian Basketball Association, sports students can acquire a C-coach license in basketball for the first time during their studies at the University of Erfurt.

The association thus recognises achievements that students have made during their basketball education at the University of Erfurt. Next Tuesday, January, 28 at 13.45 in the University Sports Hall, Jochen Michels from the Thuringian Basketball Association will hand over the licences. With the acquisition of the coaching licence, the prospective teachers will then be entitled to train children and young people in sports clubs, for example.
