careerMe mentoring reorganised: Two programme lines and flexible entry

The careerMe mentoring programme at the University of Erfurt has been restructured. As part of Competence-oriented personnel development for academics, the University of Erfurt is expanding its range of career counselling and support services: In addition to supporting academic careers, the focus will also shift more strongly to career options outside the university in future.

The programme is now offered in two new programme lines:

• Careers in academia: Academics offer themselves as mentors and support doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers and tenure as well as career-track professors
• Careers outside the university: External mentors (from business, culture or foundations, i. e.) support doctoral candidates and postdocs with appointments outside the academic system.

In addition, entry into the programme is made more flexible: Applications for the careerMe mentoring programme are now possible at any time.
