  • Keynote speech by Professor Klaus Dörre, Visiting Professor of Socio-ecological Sustainability Conflicts at the Kassel Institute for Sustainability at the University of Kassel and Professor emeritus of Labour, Industrial and Economic Sociology at Friedrich Schiller University Jena
  • Opening remarks by the State Secretary Dr. Bernd Uwe Althaus (Thuringian Ministry of Education, Science, and Culture) and adjunct Professor Bettina Hollstein (Managing Director of the Max Weber Centre for Cultural and Social Science Studies at the University of Erfurt) 

The event is open to the public and free of charge. Students and early-stage researchers in the fields of political science and law, economics and business administration, sociology, political science and history as well as theology, education, cultural studies and religious studies are particularly welcome.

You are also welcome to attend the symposium “Division has a tradition, but no future. Contemporary Perspectives on Social Economics” (Spaltung hat Tradition, aber keine Zukunft. Gegenwartsperspektiven der Sozialökonomik) in Neudietendorf, which will take place the day after the evening event.
