"Fabulous! Legendary! Fantastic!": 20th children's university "All about books" starts in February

From 24 to 27 February, the University of Erfurt invites you to its 20th children's university "All about books". This year's motto is: "Fabulous! Legendary! Fantastic!". The opening ceremony will take place on Monday, 24 February at 5 pm in the Erfurt Town Hall. The award-winning author and illustrator Sebastian Meschenmoser will be the guest of honour, providing insights into his diverse work in a musically framed reading followed by a discussion.

The university will then welcome the children to the lectures and seminars on campus from 24 to 27 February between 9 am and 12 noon. In keeping with the motto, the pupils will be immersed in different literary worlds on the topics of "Thuringian legends", "Andersen fairy tales" and "Fables in comics". A highlight will be the lecture by Sebastian Meschenmoser on 25 February.

Once again this year, the interest in the children's university "All about books" was so great in advance that the events are already fully booked. We ask for your understanding. Tickets for this opening event are available free of charge from the secretariat of the subject area “Grundlegung Deutsch” at the University of Erfurt (building C07, room 203) and from the Peterknecht bookshop.
