"Stories. Together. Enjoy": Children's University "All About Books" 2024

The opening ceremony for the 19th Children's University "All About Books" in cooperation with the 26th Erfurt Children's Book Days will take place on Monday, 26 February at 6 pm in the Erfurt Town Hall. This evening's guest is the multi-award-winning author of children's books and theatre plays, Ulrich Hub. He will read and give insights into his multifaceted work in a discussion. The event will be accompanied by music. Tickets are available free of charge from the secretariat of the subject area "Grundlegung Deutsch" (University of Erfurt, C02 – teaching building 2/room 203) and from the Peterknecht bookshop.

The lectures and seminars of the Children's University "All About Books" will then take place from 26 February to 1 March between 9 am and 12 noon at the University of Erfurt. The motto "Stories. Together. Enjoy", the pupils will be taken into the world of fantastic stories and Greek myths. They will also study illustrated stories, comics, well-known and lesser-known fairy tales. A highlight will be the lecture on 26 February with the author Ulrich Hub, who will give the pupils an insight into the world of his stories and the setting of his texts to music.
