Susanne In der Smitten new deputy data protection officer

Dr Susanne In der Smitten, Head of Policy and Organisational Development at the University of Erfurt, has been appointed Deputy Data Protection Officer of the University. She succeeds Carolin Ludwig, who is leaving the university.

Susanne In der Smitten has already been involved in various processes that affect data protection in the past. In 2020, she was also instrumental in organising the "Data Protection and IT Security Day" at the university. With her appointment, she is now a further contact person on the subject of data security at the University of Erfurt, alongside the Data Protection Officer Ute Winter.
