Teaching and Examination Organisation in the Summer Semester 2024

The school holidays (20.6.2024 to 31.7.2024) and the start of the lecture-free period in the summer semester (6.7.2024) are comparatively far apart this year. This can pose challenges for teachers and students with school-age children, e.g. with regard to childcare responsibilities and holiday planning.

In order to support them in dealing with this as well and flexibly as possible, the University of Erfurt will have special options for organising teaching and examinations in summer 2024. The Presidium has therefore proposed appropriate solution scenarios, which the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Professor Gerd Mannhaupt, informed lecturers about in an email today. We ask for your attention.
